Join a leading life insurance business as VP, Customer Insights Lab under their Customer Experience Management Office. This business unit focuses on understanding customers and their current, future interactions with the stakeholders and organisation. In this role, you will facilitate the collection and interpretation of consumer data and insights that can present meaning for the organisation. This will help shape and support key decisions to be made on the development of products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organises and conducts qualitative research with current and potential consumers of the organisation's products and services,. This includes distribution partners, to understand their needs, challenges and aspirations.
  • Interprets and presents the findings of research for key internal stakeholders to work on.
  • Organise and put into place a Actionable Consumer Insights process for internal stakeholders. This is to create a culture of being "customer-centric". 
  • Engages and manages external research agencies when additional research resource might be required.
  • Mentors and develops  junior team members.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science (psychology, sociology, economics, etc.)
  • Background / Experience in research and/or innovation-related work. Good with statistics.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.  Good stakeholder management skills
  • Creative thinking skills. Takes initiative to suggest and improve current state of things. Innovative and adaptable.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability. Good attitude and think big picture, be a good team player.
