Our client is an international general insurance business, seeking for a Global Programs Specialist to join their growing team based here in Singapore. You will need to possess excellent understanding of Property and Casualty underwriting practices and procedures, and accurately translate, advise on interpretation and application into a multinational insurance program. To succeed in this role, strong communication and planning skills is required.  This is an excellent platform to accelerate your general insurance career and develop your multinational programs exposure exponentially.  

Key Responsibilities 
  • Service a designated segment of the multinational accounts portfolio (Outwards)  
  • Assist with account placement, systems input & financial monitoring of Indigenous multinational programs. 
  • Liaise with respective LOB Underwriters to identify clients with multinational requirements and to determine additional submission details required for program retention and/or creation. 
  • Liaise with clients, brokers and/or underwriters to design and implement compliant program structures that fit client requirements. 
  • Ensure program servicing fees are appropriately calculated in accordance with anticipated work effort and capital charge requirements.  
  • Ensure supporting credit collateral and/or reinsurance arrangements are in place, where applicable. 
  • Ensure supporting premium cash flow, claims cash flow and claims management bulletins and arrangements are in place, where applicable. 
  • Prepare and issue Multinational Implementation Instructions to participating countries Inwards Account Servicing teams. 
  • Preparation of work instructions and/or liaison with other internal departments 
  • Monitor and liaise with participating client's Network, Non-Affiliate offices ensuring all local underlyer policies are completed and uploaded within KPI timeframe. 
Requirements: 
  • Possess relevant knowledge on multinational programme arrangements and reinsurance agreements required between Affiliate and Non-affiliates.  
  • Executive- Senior Executive level position  
  • Demonstrate strong ability and technical competence in Property and Casualty lines on servicing multinational business platform. 
  • Ability to monitor and report on adherence to service levels, understand production service issues and assist with resolution. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with and manage multi-cultural stakeholders.
