As the Manager for the Employee Benefits Sales and Marketing department, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, leads negotiation and closing business deals to achieve agreed business goals. You will also be responsible for managing existing  designated accounts, and create, nurture long term business relationships with our distributors- agents/financial advisors and brokers. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Development of new business opportunities.
  • Develop, plan and prioritise sales activities and interaction towards achieving agreed business goals, including costs and sales. 
  • Establish rapport for long term relationships with distributors to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
  • Channel and account management. 
  • Maintain and develop existing customer relationships through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Review accounts, prepare insurance summary, statistics report and implement revised terms within authority limits where applicable.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities.

Key Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma holder 
  • Business Development experience in insurance with key experience in managing brokers and agency intermediaries. 
  • Current or previous experience and knowledge in Employee Benefits is desirable.
  • Self-driven, motivated and disciplined individual
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Experience engaging with multicultural stakeholders and environments is good to have.
