A renowned Bank is looking for a AVP/VP Internal Auditor to join the APAC Internal Audit team to be based in Singapore. This is a generic audit role covering front to back audits for the bank, which have presence across the region in Corporate & Investment Banking, as well as some Retail Banking expertise.
 
As part of the regional audit team, you will lead and/or execute internal audits over all Banking areas within the Asia Pacific region. On a normal basis, there would be travelling of 30-40% involved. However, during this covid period, travelling is halted and audit is done remotely. You will support continuous risk monitoring and develop core banking and internal audit competencies through internal and external training programs.

The ideal candidate would come from Banking audit background. Given the nature of the Bank, strong expertise in one or more of the following areas would be highly advantageous – Corporate Banking, Treasury, Credit Risk, Banking Operations, Compliance/FCC, Financial Markets. Professional qualifications such as CA/ACCA/CPA/FRM would be advantageous. As an internal auditor, strong communication skills would be a pre-requisite due to the need to partner with senior stakeholders.
