Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client in their Singapore office, and lead their information technology and digitisation team, and drive the continuous development of their technical capabilities in pursuance of business and technology strategies. This is an active leadership role that will direct the company’s IT and digital strategy and road map, and you’ll also be working closely with customers and other business units to oversee the successful delivery of IT projects within the assigned territory. Within the company, you’ll be responsible for the health and harmonisation of the company’s systems, as well as ensuring that information security is robust. Overseeing the country-level IT department, you’ll continually drive process improvement, mitigate risks during resource planning, and develop a high-performing team to meet the existing and future business objectives of the company.

Requirement:
  • Bachelor Degree/Masters Qualification in computer science/engineering or equivalent 
  • Min 5 years of experience in a leadership role for the overall information systems/technology function, with strong business acumen and ability to take a big picture approach to projects and strategies
  • Good understanding of MAS TRM & MAS610 is essential
  • Some experience in emerging technologies such as agile development, big data, cloud, artificial intelligence, deep learning, etc
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to ensure effective engagement with stakeholders, Group office, internal departments, auditors and vendors.
  • Excellent resource management and problem solving skills.
  • Strong project office management skill.
