The Position

 

  • Translating global brand & marcom strategy to a regional strategy based on the priorities of the region.
  • Managing and aligning marketing plans and activities for marketing communication in subsidiaries.
  • Collaborating with global, regional and product marketing to develop and then maintain the global marketing calendar.
  • Defining the APAC communications roadmap and strategy in parallel with global one, as guidance to local markets’ content development
  • Adapting global campaigns to region and consolidate local insights and share with HQ to support global campaign development.
  • Developing regional campaigns; where relevant if global campaigns are not applicable or there is need for additional campaigns to support the regional agenda.
  • Reviewing and approving direct marketing expense including media budget spend and KPIs (e.g. GRP) and provide feedback to countries.
  • Designing and executing the guidelines for trade marketing practices in the region.
  • Managing regional accounts on digital platforms.
  • Approving local campaign development requests, local budget proposals, country level local marketing plans & budget.
  • Collaborating with global, regional and product marketing to develop and then maintain the global marketing calendar.
  • Developing capability of country and/or regional marketing teams.

 
Qualifications:

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably higher, in field with 12+ years of experience
  • Proven record of previous regional marketing management experience in a Consumer/ Consumer Electronics sector is a MUST.
  • People management experience for at least 8 years
  • Proven experience with managing campaigns and measuring ROI
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English
  • Self-starter who has the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at one time with minimal supervision
  • Leads others to solve complex problems, uses analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions
  • Ability to comfortably work across geographies and functions and manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to communicate concisely and clearly in through multiple channels with global customers and media
