The company is looking for an experienced COO to oversee the organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. The COO will ensure that the company has effective operational and financial procedures in place. The goal of the COO is to secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
The COO will have to maintain control of their diverse business operations, so they expect the COO to be an experienced and efficient leader. Also, the COO is required to have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics.
The COO will be responsible for collaborating with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs. They are looking for the COO to translate their strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.
Additionally, the COO will be also responsible for overseeing company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.

Supervise all the team’s activities.
As part of the Senior Management team, provide a strategic perspective to the growth and development of the company
Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO
Spearheading strategies and plans to steer the company’s future in a positive direction
Working together with the CFO (or Finance manager) to compile the budget
Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention, and company goals
Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Product, Business, Corporate etc.)
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Write and submit reports to the CEO on all matters of importance
Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants
Employing various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities
Actively engage and solve all important items that are considered necessary for the growth of the company and business.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience with information technology and computer systems that support enterprise goals.
Business level fluent in English and Japanese
Experience in English managing a multinational team
5+ years experience in executive leadership positions or managing complex enterprise's human resources, finances, operations and strategies
10 years of managerial experience
Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous complex enterprise
Proven track record of managing complex budgets successfully
Exceptional team management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to delegate efficiently
Strong understanding of advanced business planning
International business experience
Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
Prior work experience in either developing products for, or being employed by, satellite operators
Experience and knowledge of ground station services
Knowledge related to satellite communications and RF
