The Company
Our client, a global software vendor, is the leading provider in the Enterprise Cloud Data Management space to cater for the world's businesses in the enterprise markets. They would prefer candidates with direct experience in the data management space (technology).

The Role
Based in Singapore, the Account Director is responsible for the growth of revenue and market share for Malaysia. He or she will look after the most complex designated accounts across all vertical segments to maximise customer satisfaction and achieve strategic objectives.

You will connect with existing and new customers to understand the challenges they face and develop innovative solutions to help them succeed. Through dedicated account management focused on retaining and growing accounts, you'll tell the company story to the market and bring the voice of the customer back into the business. There will be a strong marketing function and 1-to-1 presales to support your activities in the assigned market.

The Responsibilities

  • Establish strong customer relationships with key decision makers and cultivate new business opportunities
  • Manage, retain and grow revenue from customers
  • Develop and execute a growth-centric account plan and overall strategy
  • Conceive and position value-added solutions to promote sales and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with account team and/or other business units and has oversight of all account activities
Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience or exposure in the Enterprise & Govt customer workflows
  • Consultative sales skills (identify, develop and articulate a complex proposition)
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills: the ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs
  • Presentation and communication skills: the ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organisation
