A top tier life insurance group is currently seeking for an experienced Accident and Health insurance professional who will be responsible for all initiatives, planning and execution to achieve overall growth and profit for the selected channels (agency and financial advisory). Working with the Head of Department, you will be involved from product conceptualization/development to supporting the marketing and distribution of products into the marketplace. Ideally, you will have a combination of experience in working with the relevant intermediaries and good working knowledge of the accident and health distribution/products landscape .We are looking for innovative and digitally savvy individuals who are keen to be part of an exciting new journey with the team here in delivering refreshed accident and health solutions and propositions for their customers.

 
Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to formulate product marketing, distribution strategies and action plans to achieve budget
  • Effectively engage and develop working relationships with agency/fa distribution partners
  • Sales and campaign management across all channels (agency, bancassurance and digital)
  • Proactively drive and execute use of digital and social media tools to maximise sales productivity of our distribution partners
  • Conduct portfolio and channel performance monitoring and analysis
  • Work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders (Marketing , Product Development, Consumer Promotion, Distribution , Customer Value, Technology Partners)
  • Liaise and work closely with back and middle office stakeholders to ensure excellence in service delivery
  • Lead and/or participate in projects assigned by the HOD 

Key experience 


  • Minimum Degree qualification 
  • At least 4 to 5 years’ experience in A&H insurance products (general or life insurance)
  • Working knowledge of business development with sales channels (Agency, Financial Advisory, brokers)
  • Digitally skills is highly desirable, exposure towards utilising digital tools and social media to communicate and market products to consumers and distributors
  • Working knowledge in planning and executing a sales/ marketing campaign for sales channels and distribution management would be desirable
