A leading international insurer are looking to make a key strategic hire for a Vice President of Corporate Communications. The right candidate will have a mix of inhouse and agency experience corporate communications/marketing experience in financial services. Because of the dynamic nature of the organisation, they are open to seeing candidates from outside of insurance.  
The company are one of the leading insurers in Asia and are looking to expand their communications department off the back of a hugely profitable 2019.

The Job

  • Help define, develop and oversee end-to-end execution of PR strategies
  • Work with necessary internal stakeholder groups to mine thought leadership & news opportunities
  • Provide PR counsel to internal stakeholders in businesses/ markets when required, work cross-functionally for combined outcomes
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key media, influencers in business, FSI, general and other trade/ lifestyle press

  • Strong individual & independent contributor with 8-12 years of relevant external/ internal communications experience in both multinationals/ large local listed companies
  • Proven experience in media management/ relations with strong active contacts across local and regional business/ online media, and strong expertise in social media, issues management. Experience in CSR programme planning, Annual Report project management/writing preferable
  • Fluent in English (Mandarin preferred)
