Job Description

A leading insurance organisation is seeking for PMO team lead in supporting numerous upcoming digital technology initiatives. Reporting into the SVP, Project Director and leading a team of 2 PMO analyst, high engagement with senior technology leaders in all project administrative, management, finance related matter.   • Assist the CTO in managing projects across the insurance ensuring projects are implemented within budget and timeline
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information with various stakeholders
  • Assist project managers to execute project procurement management activities e.g. prepare approval papers
  • Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedule and budget
  • Track project spent
  • Provide support to project managers and stakeholders when requested • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports and ensure project artefacts are updated in project repository • Assist project manager to monitor and track project deliverables and timeline
  • Inform project stakeholders of project status when necessary
  • Manage and coordinate with vendors to ensure deliverables are provided within scope and timeline
  • Provide secretarial support in project governance meetings and other value stream meetings as required
  • Assist to coordinate key meetings with various stakeholders to ensure meeting objectives are met and follow ups are executed by identified actions parties

  • Minimum 8 years working experience in consulting/banking environment - preferably with hands-on PMO or project management knowledge or Six Sigma qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills • Meticulous, analytical and result oriented, with ability to work under pressure.
  • Good analytical skills, able to analyse data, identify trends and reporting results
  • Familiarity with Clarity or similar project portfolio management tool and business intelligence reporting tools such as QlikView will be an advantage
  • Skilled at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness
  • Energetic, highly organized, assertive with good negotiation and problem-solving skills to deal with situations of differing opinions, and to intervene and escalate when necessary
