Our client is one of leading Industrial Manufacturing companies in the region.  
The incumbent will be managing regional sales activities in order to achieve sales target for the APAC region. Coordinates compilation of market / business intelligence with local representatives to participate in forecasting sales for their specific geographic region. Directs sales forecasting activities for area of responsibility and sets performance goals accordingly. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales channel partners / distributors by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals. Advises and trains representatives, dealers, distributors, and selling partners concerning sales and advertising techniques for company products and services. Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy to assist dealers in promoting company’s products and services, and growing sales. Plans and directs sales and service programs increase penetration into established markets, new markets and constantly improve competitive position in the market. Proactive meeting with potential customers to ascertain equipment, supplies and service needs. Meets with clients, assists sales representatives and distributors with maintaining relationships, understanding. Identifying, hiring and assigning of new representatives and distributors. Reviews articles in trade publications to keep abreast of technological development in types of professional equipment merchandised. Provide 1st level of technical support when the need arises. Responsible for expense budget planning, sales revenue forecasting, projections and planning.  Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Solicits feedback for product research and development. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

To be successful in this role, you should have accumulated 6 to 12 years of experience selling into any industries such as Chemical, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power, Construction, O&G, Pharmaceutical. Hands-on experience selling though channel partners, distributors and key account management to achieve sales target will be mandatory. Willing to travel more than 50 % in the APAC region.
