Join a multinational P&C insurer as Regional Claims Quality Assurance Manager. Reporting directly into the APAC Regional Head of Claims Technical Services, the regional leader of the Quality Assurance Claims team will manage an existing QA staff, and be responsible for effective and efficient conduct of technical claim audits, data analysis and reporting work. We are interested to speak with experienced claims management professionals who bring significant claims audit experience/knowledge. You are deeply passionate in delivering exceptional and quantifiable outcomes, through training and delivery of claims best practices, QA processes throughout the region. You will be closely partnering with country and regional claims teams and leaders to achieve overall bottom line outcomes. This role will be based in Singapore.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the review and analysis of claims risks to ensure compliance with claims technical quality review policies and procedures, company standards and best practices.
  • Continuous collaboration with regional and local claims management via action plans to improve claims handling and existing practices.
  • Delivers training to managers throughout APAC on the audit process including the QA system and the calibration process to support QA quality.
  • Leads or actively participates in training claim handlers on technical claims content.
  • Provides technical training around audit accuracy.
  • Dissect complex data sets, identifying “root cause” of issues/trends related to noncompliance.
  • Prepare detailed working papers that evidence work performed, issues discovered, and recommendations for improvement.

Key Experience/Qualities

  • At least 10-15 years overall experience within the general insurance industry, with key experience across claims and/or quality assurance work
  • Must be able to demonstrate recent/in-depth claims management experience within property and casualty and/or personal lines claims
  • Display strong leadership skills and management experience
  • Demonstrate clear and effective communication skills
  • Demonstrate strategic and analytical skills
  • Engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders within a multinational and dynamic environment
