Our client is a Global Investment & Financial Service company.
 
The incumbent will manage all project development permits, tender specifications and select equipment suppliers, EPC and O&M contractors for projects. Strong project management pertaining to project delivery, budget and funding to minimise potential losses due to delays or failure to secure projects. Identify any remaining development permits or consents required before construction can commence and work to secure these and de-risk projects before the financing process begins. Part of the panel for selections of project advisers and consultants including owners engineer, legal advisers and consultants qualified for the project. Commercial review and negotiation of term sheets and contracts, including agreements for equipment supply, leases, access agreements, EPC and O&M agreements.
 
Ability to work with communication department to draft out proposal with specific elements to seek for internal approvals and information memoranda for debt and equity investors. Act as board representative on the project during the development phase with overall responsibility for managing the on time, on budget and safe delivery of the project to completion of the project. Commercial review and negotiation of term sheets and contracts, including agreements for equipment supply, leases, access agreements, EPC and O&M agreements. Overall project responsibility during construction, including oversight of appointed Owner’s Representative.
 
To be successful in this role, the incumbent needs to possess at least 15-20 years project management & construction within infrastructure asset management, data centre owners, internet/technology company, telecommunications utility or related field. Project development experience including the identification of sites, negotiation of land leases or options, securing backbone and grid connections, easements, planning and environmental approvals are mandatory. Equipment procurement experience, selecting suitable equipment suppliers and running competitive tenders for greenfield infrastructure projects will be beneficial
