Our client is a leading international MNC that seeks an experienced sales manager to join their expanding front office division based in Singapore. The ideal background of the candidate would be someone who has experience with institutional or corporate sales either to hedge funds or buy-side clients in Asia.  Experience with energy derivatives products will be good as this role will directly be dealing and advising clients on those products. Other commodities derivatives exposure across Metals and Agri will also be considered.  Strong overall view of the commodities future’s markets will be crucial for this role. The encumberment will need to have strong relationship building and account management skills with a network of established contacts that they can bring across.

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in the area of commodities derivatives sales.
  • Strong network with hedge funds, prop trading firms, IBD’s and trading houses in the oil and energy space will be crucial.
  • Strong and established network of institutional clients based in China. This is a senior leadership role with an expectation to both lead sales and growth of the company in the region.
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
  • Open and willing to travel around the region to meet with clients directly.
