A leading global payments company in Singapore is looking for a Manager, Merchants Monitoring to be part of a strong regional team in managing the company’s merchants compliance to policies. This is a highly respected role as the individual will be responsible for the risk profile of the business and enhancing risk strategies. To succeed in this role, you have to have excellent understanding of the payments space from a fraud risk, credit risk, compliance perspective and led regional / international teams.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring merchants and their business activities are in compliance
  • Articulating and recommending portfolio risk management strategies to senior management
  • Supporting internal teams in on-boarding of merchants and policy formation
  • Constantly keep merchant monitoring policies relevant and staying ahead
  • Building a proactive and driven team regionally
You will have:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a combination of merchants monitoring, fraud, credit risk functions
  • Knowledge in payments and cards schemes is a must 
  • Expert in portfolio risk and reporting
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations regionally / globally
  • Experience in managing a regional / global team
