Our Client is a global medical device company and leader in new product development and medical education in Orthopedics.

PURPOSE
As the Professional Education Manager, he/she will be responsible, in conjunction with Business Leads for identifying strategic needs and capabilities across the sales organization and creating a fully aligned, result-oriented, highly effective commercial functionality in the Asia Pacific area.
 
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Driving Commercial Excellence: Facilitate commercial excellence across region by setting and monitoring key performance measures including sales targets, territory planning and implementation of local initiatives
  • Alignment with commercial strategy: Responsible for integration and alignment of sales force effectiveness & training strategies with brand plans, regional and country priorities. Develop rolling 12 months strategic training and assessment plan for Asia Pacific aligned with commercial requirements
  • Analytics & Reporting: Be the sales analysis expert providing insights on all aspects of sales model and how this has been implemented across the organization. Conduct proactive analysis (internal promotion data, competitive share, KOL data) to help identify key drivers of sales performance and key areas of opportunity / challenge
  • Drive Training Modules: Formulate a training framework and road map for structured and integrated development of the field force. Take primary direction from Director Commercial APAC, whilst working very closely with the in-country key stakeholders to establish regional priorities, strategies and plans
  • Support New Launch Management: Collaborate with Product Teams and align with sales leads and ensure the continuous integration and training of new product, competition, and clinical knowledge through the design, development, and delivery of training modules
  • Budget Tracking: Monitor and prepare annual functional budget for all initiatives related to SFE & training
  • Scheduling: Draft regional training schedules, responsible for the coordination and communication of the training programs. Manage competency testing and certification processes
 
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor Degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an SFE/commercial excellence role within the medical device industry (ie, a track record that demonstrates credibility to trainees)
  • Proven regional track record
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skill and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across countries with diverse cultures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across matrix organizations in a fast-paced organization within the APAC region
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Fluency in English and an additional language an advantage
