Our client is a pharmaceutical company focusing on the treatment of diabetes.

The successful incumbent is expected to lead the day-to-day operations with over 20 headcounts to develop mid and long-term plans for the business. The following are key points about the position:
  • Lead and expand the entire operations within Vietnam, including Sales & Marketing
  • Profit & Loss / Budget responsibility for the country

Job Responsibilities

Direct reporting to the Regional Director in regards to the overall business development

Lead the business in the following aspects:
  • Business strategy for Vietnam
  • Product portfolio management
  • Market management and development
  • HR and Business Services
  • Profit & Loss and Budget
  • Prodict launches
  • Projects, management processes, guidelines and standards
  • Lead and steer the market management, sales and marketing plans and activities
  • Customer relationship management (e.g. KOL, Wholesaler and further partners)
 
Requirements
  • University degree in science and/or business with excellent commercial knowledge
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry in a management position, ideally in diabetes-related field
  • Profound knowledge in marketing and sales and good economical business understanding
  • Profound knowledge about the Vietnam market and its characteristics
  • Verifiable success in building and developing of a country organization is desirable
  • Distinctive entrepreneurial thinking and action
  • Marketing- and sales-oriented mindset
  • Very good experience in leading a sales team and employees with a results- and goal-oriented leadership style
  • Very good analytical, strategic and conception competencies
  • Excellent English language communication skills and language of operating country, further languages desirable
  • High willingness to travel
