As a critical team member, you will work with the Head of FI to build and develop sustainable FI business with an emphasis on cash management products. You will recommend business strategy, covering end to end services from sales, product management and post-sales services so as to achieve targets. Your coverage will mainly be Chinese banks and Chinese NBFIs and you will get to leverage on some head office relationships but also actively business develop into new clients around the region.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5-6 years exposure to FI clients, and Transaction Banking products (Cash Management and/or Trade Finance). Given that it is a small team, you will need to have existing exposure and comfort dealing with Chinese clients. Hence, a strong command of the Chinese language is required. Additional requirements include knowledge of general banking products and processed including legal, documentations, credit, client on-boarding.
