Job Description

Our client is a global health service provider and they are looking for a Head of Health Operations to be based in Bangkok, Thailand. In this newly defined role,  you will be overseeing the daily operations and transformation projects for their third-party administration (TPA) business.  

You will also work extensively with key customers – insurance clients, regional teams and country offices, and manage existing teams.

We are seeking for Thai -speaking individuals with strong health/medical products working knowledge and demonstrated experience managing TPA claims operations successfully. You must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage projects in a agile environment to succeed in this role.  This will be an excellent opportunity for individuals with the mentioned skills set to gain strong visibility within an international organisation and develop their management career further.

Position Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of TPA division, planning for division processes and workflow 
  • Monitor cases for clients; cases handled within agreed SLA and monitoring of TAT
  • Oversee Payment monitoring ; ensure payment processes are in accordance to KPIs
  • Handle escalated and challenging cases when they arise  , be readily involved with any complaint cases from clients
  • Participate in discussions with clients and IT on system enhancements and testing
  • Planning for staff hiring, assigning duties and responsibilities

Requirements

  •  Degree or Diploma in Business Preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in health insurance industry,  TPA working experience
  • Ability to engage effectively with multicultural stakeholders
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Thai
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Attention to details
  • Customer service working knowledge
  • Health Insurance/Medical product knowledge
  • TPA operations/claims  experience
