This role leads the end to end vendor selection and implementation of a Project Portfolio Management system for a significant EPMO.

The EPMO reaches across multiple PMOs in a large scale, complex and diverse government environment.

The implementation of a Portfolio Management framework and system will enable consistent and accurate project portfolio analysis and support decision making across the organisation.

The role requires excellent stakeholder management and facilitation up to Executive level and strong Project Management discipline as well as a good understanding of the PMO/EPMO function and Portfolio Management systems and frameworks.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of EPMO or PMO function in large, complex and federated environments, government experience is an advantage
  • Strong Project Management discipline including financials, planning, risks and issues etc fo business and technical projects
  • Experience implementing Portfolio Management systems and frameworks
  • Experience in the RFQ/vendor selection process, ideally in government
  • Exceptional stakeholder facilitation and engagement skills up to executive level
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent, relevant professional experience
