A contract role has come available for a technical lead with a background across the .NET Framework for a large Banking and Financial Services Organisation based in the Sydney CBD.

Our client is a financial services organisation who is undergoing a large IT transformation program which is centered around modernising their application suites and building a new platform. They are a global brand who is building their footprint in the APAC region, hence they are looking for a Lead .NET Developer to lead a team of 10 onshore and offshore resources.

On offer is a great opportunity for someone to step into more of a leadership role as you will be helping to drive agile methodologies whilst supporting the business . Along with being responsible for managing the technical leadership and day-to-day responsibilities, you will be required to mentor/train other members of the team.

Responsibilties:

  • Lead a small team to deliver projects into production using Agile Scrum
  • Excellent communication skills and facilitate stakeholder calls
  • Full stack .net web-based applications development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, Bootstrap, CSS
  • Strong experience with .Net stack Angular JS, ASP.Net MVC Razor, WCF
  • Strong database design and development experience using SQL Server and SSRS.
  • Lead development team to the deliver low-level design.
  • Work with on-shore and offshore team members in their implementation of these low-level designs and where necessary writing code to get them started or unblocked on difficult technical tasks
  • Responsible to ensure the deliverables are well designed, well implemented and tested by the development team using best practices in coding, automation, integration, testing, and security
  • Champion test-driven development to drive engineering led quality assurance
  • Git experience
  • Strong understanding around CI/CD tools
  • Experience within the Banking & Finance industry
