This role manages a new business program for new business (non - IT) services for a large and complex government organisation. It provides the best practice approach and capability for the program to meet planned objectives and deliverables. It includes the program initiation, setting up project controls and governance, managing the business case and solution options to implementation. Some experience with IR is beneficial but not mandatory.

Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated successful experience in initiation and delivery of business projects within complex and federated environments - NSW Government
  • Experience in business services projects including procurement and business case development to implementation
  • ie cleaning services etc
  • Proven experience and success in managing a delivery capability responsible for planning, delivery, change management and reform for a range of program and project types
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills up to executive level internal and external to the organisation
  • Exposure to IR environments is a benefit
  • Strong matrix team management
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or significant equivalent experience
