We have a brilliant opportunity for a Technology Risk Manager to be part of a large ASX Listed Business. You will sit within the 2nd Line Risk Assurance team and be part of a Technology Risk Managers pool. Depending on your skill set/preference you will be assigned to Technology Risk work within Business Banking, Retail Banking, Super or Insurance group functions or work on projects where you bed down Technology Risk framework.

Duties:  
  • Performing assurance reviews over delivery risk (i.e. project governance, scope management, quality management) and delivered risk of key projects.
  • Preparing review reports issued to stakeholders and delivery of appropriate insight and conclusions.
  • Maintaining and delivering the annual assurance plan, contributing to the preparation of quarterly risk and compliance committee reports.
  • Contributing to the design implementation of an effective three lines of defence risk assurance model and leading effective engagement with external and internal auditors.
Your background:  
  • Extensive experience within IT Audit (internal or external) or technology risk. 
  • Relevant industry and other professional qualifications (e.g. CA, CISA, CRISC, CIA, CFA, FRM, MBA).
  • Experience within a 'Big 4' firm would be preferable or previous experience in IT audit from within a large financial services institution.
  • Well-rehearsed in Data Analytics using BI Tools, Excel, SQL, Visualization Tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High ethical standards with collaborative personality, possessing ability to identify, scope and solve issues.
  • Result oriented and able to work under pressure independently or as part of a team.
