Looking for a Senior Front End Developer (Angular) with Global Markets experience to join a leading banking organisation.

The office is based in Sydney CBD but can facilitate a range of flexible working arrangements. You will be working from home for the rest of the year.

To excel in this role your responsibilities will include:

  • translating design prototypes into code that produces visual elements of the application
  • building reusable code and libraries for future use as a part of our design system
  • working with the team to support the product as a DevOps team
  • being across changes in the fast-moving world of Front-end Engineering
  • interacting with the team in technical discussions, design and code reviews
  • participating in defining and evolving best practices for front-end engineering
  • integrating with back-end APIs and ultimately core systems.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • in-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and Angular
  • awareness of secure development practices
  • ability to balance short-term and long-term customer needs
  • ability to setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Atlassian stack)
  • ability to write shell scripts to engineer for and maintain production stability.

Ideally you will also have:

  • AWS Cloud Formation experience
  • Java Spring framework experience
  • solution architecture and design experience
  • RESTFUL API design and development experience
  • Cordova or similar mobile app framework experience
  • Salary expectation can be discussed as it will depend on seniority.
