The Technical Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for assessing quality of specifications and technical design documents in order to ensure timely, relevant and meaningful feedback. The role is involved in implementing quality management strategies and quality assurance principles. A key component of this role will be the delivery of technical solutions that will include systems configuration, modification etc. The role will also be responsible for contribution to the continuous improvement of the Quality Control function within.

Key Accountabilities:
  1. Play a contribute role in the creation of a “Technical Quality Integration and Ownership” culture through promotion of quality framework and policy requirements in programs space.
  2. Participate in process definition and improvements, actively contribute to the documentation of procedures to standardise and maintain process controls.
  3. Provide detailed advice to vendors to ensure that deliverables meet technical quality standards and they are aligned to the existing internal fit-for-purpose quality assurance framework.
  4. Review quality specifications and technical design documents with a view to estimate priorities, plan and coordinate quality testing activities.
  5. Validates that suppliers' performance is in accordance with contract terms.
  6. Collaborate with project stakeholders including vendors and technical teams to identify and analyse technical gaps raising associated risks and issues, and actively engage in problem solving to provide appropriate direction and advice on risk mitigation strategies.
  7. Adhere to internal policies to ensure compliance with regulatory parameters, company policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements:
  1. Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience in a similar role
  2. Experience in designing, building and deploying infrastructure and application solutions
  3. Experience in Service Integration and Management
  4. Stakeholder engagement skills
  5. ITIL certified
  6. ServiceNow Experience
Key Criteria:
  1. Proven ability and record of achievement in implementing quality management strategies and quality assurance principles to maximise technical investment outcomes.
  2. Demonstrated experience and a record of achievement in migration, transition, transformation and quality control of ICT initiatives in a large and complex service industry organisation.
  3. Highly developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
