Looking for a Senior Support Engineer to join the Engineering Platform Support Manager(s) and broader Platform Technology Team, to provide richer user experiences to better engage customers.

This is a permanent position offering $130K + super for a leading financial services organisation, based in Sydney CBD (working from home for the foreseeable future).

This role will be the primary point of contact within the Digital Delivery technology portfolio for any issues/bugs/requests/enhancements etc. You will be liaising with multiple business and technology stakeholders, understanding their requirements, troubleshooting the incoming issues and preparing backlog for the developers.  

Experience required:
  • Experience in developing software solutions for financial applications - L3 Web application Support with ITIL background
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Splunk/ELK/Dynatrace/AppDynamics/Dynatrace etc)
  • Proficient in the following technologies (Java, Node or Angular, SQL Server 2012 or higher, XML, HTML, Jscript,)
  • Prior experience work with code versioning tools (GIT, Jenkins)
  • Experience in API programming
  • Experience implementing automation testing platforms and unit tests
  • Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Familiarity with Windows presentation and services frameworks
  • Experience using JIRA/Confluence
  • Experience across the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
