We are looking for a Technical Lead to join a large financial services company on an initially 6-month contract.
 
This role will be based in Sydney CBD however you will be working from home initially.
 
MUST haves:
  • 5 + years’ experience in Procurement Application Development or Deployments 
  • Exposure to Cloud implementation
  • Worked for a large financial services organisation

 
How will you contribute:
  • Deliver high level and detailed technical solution definition and design to business requirements
  • Apply expert knowledge of systems to inform Architecture and Solution Design optimal design
  • Ensure that applications are developed with consistent maintainable code which supports risk and compliance management
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of applications throughout lifecycle and provide technical input to the planning of future application and maintenance requirements
  • Apply Agile frameworks, techniques and processes and overlay agile reporting and governance to deliver incremental value to areas of responsibility
  • Utilise Lean Principles that ensure effective delivery of value to customers. Consider and apply process efficiencies within sphere of influence, eliminating waste and maintaining continuous flow based on customer demand
  • Apply Design Thinking principles such as customer empathy, creative collaboration and test and learn ensuring solutions address customer needs and are viable and feasible for the business

Essential Skills:
  • - Experience in Front End Development Technologies and Integration in Cloud Platforms (AWS and SaaS tools)
  • - Knowledge around application processes including Procure to Pay (highly desirable)
  • - Strong experience around integrations using REST, SOAP, API calls to Cloud Application APIs.
  • - Scripting languages, XML, Development experience on integrating Single Sign on.
  • - Experience with systems development, support and maintenance, with specialist application knowledge and experience with systems integration
  • - Advanced knowledge of system analysis
  • - A firm understanding of a financial services operating environment, procurement applications and products desirable
  • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • - Applied understanding of technical concepts of enterprise architecture and contemporary IT strategies
