The Senior Digital Business Analyst leads the data and business analysis within the Digital Customer Product Development Division. It works closely with the Data Services Team, the business and Product Managers to develop and deliver digital products and services using real-time and spatial data. It provides advise and insights that support the ongoing development, innovation and enhancement of digital customer information products and services. The role acts as a Business Partner and requires outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to influence effectively across the most senior levels of the organisation as well as externally with vendors. In addition, strong technical understanding of big data, real-time data, data sources and systems integration etc. is a must.
Skills and experience required
Extensive experience leading the data and business analysis across a complex portfolio of digital initiatives in a federated or multi-sourced environment
Solid experience in real-time data. Knowledge of GIS/spatial data ideal
Proven experience in providing advice, options and insights on data services and digital products
End to end technical Business Analysis inc software, web and mobile app development across the development lifecycle
Knowledge and experience in with systems and data integration - APIs, XML, JSON
Good knowledge of data standards and frameworks
Experience in mapping, database structures, data warehouse, data manipulation, data quality and rand data lifecycle management
Relevant Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience with at least 8-10 years’ experience in business analysis.
