To lead the Technology and Analytics Assurance team in the provision of independent assurance to divisional CRO’s, Chief Compliance Officer, General Managers and Group Executives within the Group Technology division. To ensure operational risk and compliance controls are operating effectively and in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Accountable for delivering the annual Integrated Assurance Plan as it relates to Technology and Analytics Assurance and overseeing Risk Assurance (2nd Line) reviews and evaluations that assist management in exercising their responsibility to develop, maintain, monitor, and continuously enhance control frameworks and systems.
  • Drive the transformation of the Technology and Analytics Assurance team into an industry leading team.
  • Provide forward looking insights to business areas within the group, executive management and the Board.
  • Assist in the development of the overall strategy and approach to risk and compliance assurance for Technology and Analytics Assurance in line with 3 Lines of Defence Risk Management Framework and the divisional business strategy.
  • Accountable for Risk Assurance work supporting the Group Technology division.
  • Manage assurance pipeline and quality of the Technology and Analytics Assurance allocated resources.
  • Co-ordinate, maintain, monitor and deliver an annual Integrated Assurance Plan that complies with Group Standards.
  • Ensure completion of assurance reviews for all Sarbanes Oxley, Prudential Standard and Compliance obligations.
  • Ensure completion of assurance reviews for Group Technology.
  • Provide risk assurance over high and medium rated operational risks and material compliance obligations.
  • Provide Technology and Analytics Assurance across the business.
  • Influence enterprise leaders to improve and embed risk monitoring & control practices.
  • Report assurance results and insights in quarterly General Manager and Divisional Risk and Compliance Committee reports.
  • Oversee and manages individual assurance activities when necessary, delivering an assurance opinion in final reports.
  • Develop and sustain a high-performing Technology and Analytics Assurance team that is focused on strategic priorities and operational excellence.
  • Act as a people leader for senior members of the team; providing frequent feedback and professional guidance.
  • Manage relationships with the relevant Group Executives and key General Manager’s across the division/s including the relevant Divisional Chief Risk Officer, and Divisional Chief Compliance Officer.
