Exciting role overseeing the actuarial and investments portfolio for a major life insuerer.
Your Responsibilities:
Supporting the Senior Actuary, you will execute the monthly valuations including profit reporting, analysis of variances, capital and embedded value reporting
In-depth analysis of financial reports and provide meaningful commentary to Board reports
Apply business judgement and understand the "big picture" to implement effective process improvement plans
Business planning, interaction with stakeholders, strategic insight and process improvement
Skill Requirements:
Over 4 years of exposure in the life insurance space - preferably within valuations
Partly qualified actuary or newly qualified actuary
Strong judgement abilities and stakeholder management skills
