Looking for a Service Designer to join the Customer Journey Labs team for a leading financial services organisation.

This role is for an initial 12 month fix-term contract based in Sydney CBD.

We have a flexible salary for this role and the company also offer flexible working and competitive company benefits.

This role is responsible for leading day-to-day Experience Design (XD) activities and deliverables within a given program of work/project environment.

You will be working in cross-functional teams with experts in Lean, Data and Agile. No one project is like the other and there is a lot of collaboration with other business units.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of human centred design experience with a focus on digital and end-to-end experience design
  • 2-3+ years in a senior design role in-house
  • Experience in financial services, or similar industry, in a hands-on design role
  • Clear understanding of how to turn design research into tangible, actionable design outcomes
  • Proven experience influencing stakeholders
  • Experience creating and evolving process and systems to support customer centred design practices
  • Experience working in design projects with multi-disciplinary co-located Agile teams
  • Experience in people leadership and team management
  • This organisation has a huge studio space and a recently refurbished office.
