The Business Project Manager is responsible for the project initiation phase and implementation of a strategic initiative. The intial focus of the role is to deliver the project initiation documents including plans, schedules, estimates and recommendations for the project implementation. The project is part of a longterm strategic program within the Community Housing sector.

Essential skills and experience:
  • Experience in the community housing sector or similar
  • Proven experience in successful end to end project management and delivery of diverse business projects as part of a larger strategic business program within Government
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as Prince2, Prince2, Agile etc
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship building and management to work effectively with key stakeholders, internal and external partners with the ability to bring a pragmatic approach
  • A strong communicator with high level of written (reports & document preparation) and verbal communication skills with ability to coach
  • Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal cultural beliefs is highly desirable
  • Relevent tertiary degree and/or professional qualifications
