Our client is currently going through an exciting phase of change and innovation in how they manage cyber security across the organisation.  As a result, we are looking to engage a Senior Risk Management Specialist / Lead to support the risk buy-down of the Cyber Defence Portfolio as well as the identification and management of Cyber Security and Operational IT risks, as well as supporting the roll-out of the new Risk Management tool.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Agree scope of the Risk Management Stream, leverage risk resources and manage the delivery to the agreed scope
  • Developing the Cyber Defence Portfolio Risk Buy-down Curve and manage Portfolio risks, issues and dependencies
  • Development, implementation and maintenance of the Stream schedule to deliver the Stream, including dependencies, within agreed timeframes, resources, quality and budget
  • Manage a risk resource to onboard critical assets into the Risk Management tool and support the Operational Risk and Assurance teams to roll out the Risk Management tool
  • Support the roll-out of the new Risk Management tool across the enterprise.
  • Deliver the development of the Management Assurance Framework and Integrated Risk Management reporting
  • Scoping, procuring and managing engagements for the implementations of Management Assurance Framework in collaboration with the Operational Risk and Assurance teams
  • Scoping, procuring and managing engagements with support vendors
  • Presenting the risk posture to leadership and obtaining risk appetite sign-off
We're looking for an individual that can demonstrate experience in the above accountabilities, as well as exceptional stakeholder management skills, a pragmatic approach to delivery and a desire to make a difference.

You will have Project Management qualifications (PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile) with extensive experience in Risk Management, control framework implementation and reporting in large/complex projects, or teams, as well as
demonstrated Cyber Security delivery implementation experience.

This is fantastic long-term contract offering exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects and stakeholders within an organisation undergoing significant investment and change.
