We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst to join one of Australia's leading Banking and Finance Organisations. Based in the Sydney CBD, the contract will be for an initial 6 months with the view to extend.

The Role
  • You will be working in a small Delivery focused team and will be responsible for all aspects of testing. The test analyst will be required to work with key team members and external suppliers to ensure all facets of testing is fulfilled.
  • The nature of this work requires reasonable knowledge of Home Lending, however a background working within Banking & Finance is suitable. The role will require analysis of requirements, generation of test scripts and test plans, integration with software components, defect management, implementation and Production support activities.
  • Testing can vary from monthly BAU releases to ensuring overall compliance with project and industry definitions and UAT. Knowledge of and experience with tools such JIRA is essential. The ability to easily adapt to a fast paced changing environment is crucial.  
Description
Preparation & execution of Test scripts, checking for quality and accuracy, defect reporting, management and status reporting are responsibilities of the Test Analyst.

The Test Analyst role will perform the following tasks:
  • Analysing & Understanding Functional Requirements to identify potential gaps and construct a test approach / plan
  • Preparation of Test Scripts
  • Test Execution
  • Continuous Testing for BAU activities and projects
  • Defect identification & management
  • Production support activities
  • Providing feedback to Business Analyst Team and External suppliers
  • Identification of issues and risks
  • Assisting with Change Management activities, comms preparation on an adhoc basis
