Our client is a financial services organisation with a focus to transform the way they deliver excellence and innovation. We currently have a need for a Scrum Master to join a program of work around data and regulatory reporting.  This is a new and exciting piece of work within a banking environment that will combine internal business groups and vendor.

Reporting to the Program Manager,  the projects team is responsible for delivering new data program to comply with recent requirements around reporting to key external business partners.   Your role will include 80% Scrum Master and 20% Project Lead.

You will be integral to helping its vision by playing a key role in the delivery of analytics and business intelligence projects for the business.  Your expertise will be in financial services and has proven experience across complex programs of work.

Your role will see you coach and support teams of development and cross-functional specialists to ensure that outcomes are effectively communicated to the product owners, establishing the basis for future practice.

Track sprint progress and identify any divergence from allocated tasks.

Understand the product planning life-cycle and effectively manages the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner

Skills & Experience

Scrum Master
  • SAFE Certified + practice SAFE Methodologies and have lead a Scrum environment for 3+ years
  • Lead daily, weekly and monthly rituals are run effectively, efficiently and regularly.
  • Proactively (and re-actively) identify and clear organisational roadblocks and external interference's that may distract with the development and/or cross-functional scrum team members.
  • Facilitate consensus building within the scrum team(s).
  • Coach development and cross-functional teams to create high-value products.
  • Fosters close co-operation between Product Owner’s, stakeholders and the scrum team.
Project Experience
  • Ideally but not essential to have worked on data and/or regulatory projects
  • Senior level stakeholders engagement and presentation skills
  • Vendor engagement and management
