Our client is a high profile government organisation with large scale, multi vendor IT Infrastructure environment. The Manger IT Infrastructure Services Strategy role is responsible develop and implement a strategy to ensure service delivery excellence and commercial value from outsource arrangements.

This includes developing a commercial blueprint for procurement activities/FRQs, development and implementation of a single view of vendors, technology and capability; implementation of a governance model and metrics for vendor performance. Experience within government procurement and commercial management is ideal.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience in leading the procurment/RFQ process and negotiating large IT technology and outsourced contracts. Government experience is ideal
  • A solid understanding of IT Technology service integration in complex multi-vendor environment
  • Extensive experience in senior IT Commercial Leadership roles and/or Consulting experience negotiating large and high value IT outsourced contracts. Government exp preferred.
  • Experience negotiating multi year Enterprise agreements( with key IT outsource providers - tier 1 and 2.
  • Strong key stakeholder engagement experience - technology, service management, financial, commercial, legal, risk et
  • Relevant Tertiary degree in business, finance or law
