Ethos are Currently recruiting for a Senior Investment Analyst to join a leading property business based in the Inner West of Sydney. This market leader is looking to build on already impressive growth by identifying and commercialising opportunities to build it's property assets across a number of different sites and government tenders.


Working closely with the head of asset growth the ideal candidate will have strong experience identifying and evaluating a broad range of commercial opportunities in the property sector, providing business cases to the senior leadership team and assisting with the acquisition process. The role would suit either someone looking to move from and M&A/corporate development environment or someone already working in an analytical role in the property sector.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and formulate effective financial models and templates to assess the financial and commercial feasibility of new and existing investments and contracts
  • Update benchmark financial and pricing assumptions as utilised in financial models
  • Support the preparation of an investment manual 
  • Provide key support and advice to senior stakeholders on investment selection and decision making processes
  • Business partner to project managers and non-finance stakeholders to effectively influence strategic processes through sound interpretation of findings
  • Conduct market, industry and related risk analysis and assessments as needed

Skills

  • Financial modelling and investment analysis experience in property projects
  • Extensive business partnering experience
  • 5 + years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong financial understanding of cash flows, P&L, financial models and metrics and risk analysis
  • Superior communication and problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
