Our client is a financial services organisation with a focus to transform the way they deliver excellence and innovation. We currently have a need for a Technical Business Analyst with a strong data and regulatory focus to under go a new and exciting piece of work around business issues and data solutions.

The initial focus will be looking at lending & credit risk obligations and devising the pilot and strategic solution for the the bank.
The Senior Technical Business Analyst role is an integral part of the agile project team.

They are responsible for:
  • Working with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems
  • Defining and managing the requirements through the delivery life-cycle to meet business needs, including writing user stories & test cases
  • Managing the backlog in association with the product owner.
  • Analysing data in relation databases (Teradata) including data profiling and data quality analysis.
Responsibilities include:
  • Analyse the data collected, across medium to large complex projects/programs without direction or guidance, to evaluate the effectiveness of a data source and its underlying variables, to provide guidance on its fit for purpose in Regulatory projects;
  • Leading the definition, elicitation, prioritisation and validation of requirements and design of business processes to meet the needs of the organisation;
  • Data quality and profiling in relational databases, including gap analysis
  • Defining and driving ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes; 
  • Managing the development of detailed Business Requirements, Business Process Specifications and/or System Functional / Non-Functional Specifications that will drive the desired change to business process, system enhancement / development activities;
  • Reviewing and revising documentation in light of any new information and/or changes to initial assumptions, including implications for project time, cost, quality and risk;
  • Supporting testing, training and implementation activities, to ensure the successful delivery of the overall business and technology solutions;
