As an Interaction Designer, you will be using human centre and evidence-based design to create and deliver digital experiences in a range of contexts across web, small screen and into emerging interfaces.
You will work closely with the Visual Designer, UX Researchers and Developers, while your role is to focus on form-based tasks including IA & content, prototyping, wireframing etc. You will be re-platforming a product that has a global presence.
Your design delivery and collaboration skills will support you inside cross-functional teams across multiple platforms using Agile methodologies.
You’ll join a large-scale program that’s re-platforming our responsive buying experiences across multiple brands & products
Refine conceptual wireframes & user flows into high fidelity artefacts ready for build, working through detailed requirements, use cases and scenarios
Design hi-fidelity prototypes with interactions
Applying established UX and UI patterns from our Chroma Design System
Identifying & designing new components & patterns
Working in an agile scrum team alongside engineers, product owners, BA, testers
Assist other designers with broader UX activities: research, design sprints, workshops, usability testing
Receive guidance and support from other UX Designers in the project, as well as the wider Design Team (40+)
Document design specifications in a way that clearly express the intended experience to stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
3-5 years of professional work experience as a UX Interaction designer
Proficiency in all aspects of Interaction design (IA & content, wireframing, prototyping).
Proficiency in in visual and UI design
Understanding of designing for accessibility & inclusion
Experience of developing and working with design systems.
Ability to effectively communicate and articulate design decisions and insights to stakeholders and co-workers.
