Ethos BeathChapman have been exclusively engaged to identify a top-tier Business Continuity Manager for an ASX market leader.  As a result of an ambitious and successful growth in Operations, this organisation requires a Risk-based approach to Business Continuity, Resilience and Security as they continue to embed a 3 Lines of Defence model. The successful candidate will strategically design a fit for purpose framework for the Group, as well as empowering the 1st Line. This is an opportunity to lead transformational change and flex your finely honed stakeholder management and influencing skills. This is a rare opportunity to design a fit-for-purpose capability from scratch, and follow-up through to implementation. 

Role and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Develop and implement Group wide Business Continuity strategy including emergency management, crisis management and security
- Partner with organisation-wide Line Managers, particularly Technology senior leadership
- Champion a clear 3 Lines of Defence division of responsibility
- Consult senior business stakeholders on effective KPIs, implementation of new policy and incident management
- Spearhead productive trend analysis to demonstrate value-add to business stakeholders
- Drive process improvement and utilisation of a new platform for reporting and transparency purposes
- Train and deliver to workshops to senior stakeholders, including Governance and Board committees

This is an ideal role if you are passionate about BCP and can generate quick wins in an unstructured greenfield environment.  The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of Business Continuity Planning experience from a highly regulated and operational industry, ie manufacturing, retail, consulting or government infrastructure. You will be able to articulate how to set a strategic, Group-wide framework, whilst simultaneously encouraging cultural change and buy-in. You enjoy operating in a standalone capacity and can naturally influence behaviours.
