About the Role

A Salesforce Functional Consultant is needed for an initial 6-month contract to work as part of the team to implement changes and enhancements to the Salesforce Platform. The successful candidate must have a good understanding of Salesforce including ability to perform basic changes on the platform to demonstrate business ideas.


  • Engage with the business users at different levels to understand business needs, document the requirements, analyse, evaluate, and make recommendations on implementation
  • Work effectively with various program owners, business partners, IT teams and application teams to identify, document and prioritise requirements
  • Work within delivery scrum teams support the delivering of requirements through build, test, and implementation
  • In conjunction with the business and architects development of high level solutions that satisfy the  business need using Salesforce
  • Documentation of requirements and user stories
  • Ability to demonstrate through proof of concept or similar means key elements of business solution to test requirements and ability to achieve desired value
  • Participate in change management activities to support rollout of change
  • Understanding of the standard OOTB (out of the box) declarative capabilities of Salesforce such as workflow, flows, process builder and app builder
  • Up to 3 years in an IT Support role
  • Administrative experience of Salesforce
  • Salesforce Professional Certifications
  • A positive “can-do” attitude is essential
