Our client, a high-profile public services organisation based in Sydney's West, are looking to engage a Senior Information Security Architect that can operate at an Enterprise level to support a major technology transformation program, spanning infrastructure, application security and service management. The Role: In this role, you will work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team and be be responsible for designing and developing the enterprise level solutions across cloud and on-premise infrastructure, security and service management to achieve business objectives; including design patterns, strategies, reference architectures and roadmaps for the IT security domain.
You will also be responsible for overseeing the design of solutions to ensure alignment with the approved information security strategies and reference architectures as well as lead technical security project implementations and monitor and review progress and alignment to the strategies. You will develop key relationships with vendors to specify and negotiate solutions and to define infrastructure and security requirements; as well as work closely with the Application, Solution, Integration, Data, API, Legacy Lead Architects to ensure a cohesive and collaborative approach to solutioning. Experience needed for the position:
Minimum 5 years’ experience within IT Security Architecture, with some demonstrable experience working at an Enterprise level.
Experience developing IT Security reference architecture and strategic roadmaps.
Extensive experience in implementing security frameworks within large and diverse environments.
Experience designing and architecting application security solutions and network security and endpoint security solutions.
Sound knowledge of and experience in the design and application of risk/information security management controls, principles, practices and reporting standards.
Knowledge of and experience in the application of information security management standard (AS/NZS 27001 and AS/NZS 27002), risk management standard (AS/NZ 31000), COBIT and ITIL methodologies to identify key business risks and to develop appropriate controls which effectively manage and mitigate such risks.
High-level written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to influence change.
High degree of analytical and problem-solving skills in a large and diverse environment.
Strong working knowledge of IT management and enterprise architecture methods including SABSA, TOGAF, etc.
