We have been engaged to recruit a crucial newly created Senior Risk Manager role within a wealth management and insurance provider. Based in a 1st Line capacity you will assist the business in meeting in strategic objectives and will need a practical, solution-driven mindset. Prior Wealth or Insurance experience will not be necessary, whereas an ability to dissect complex frameworks, controls and incidents will be critical. This role will suit an Auditor or Risk Manager seeking a high performing and ambitious next role.

Role and responsibilties include but are not limited to;
  • Offer commercial and pragmatic operational risk advice
  • Manage the Operational Risk Management Framework through key risk indicators, governance & reporting, risk profiles, control environment, issue & incident management
  • Identify process improvements and control environment uplift
  • Provide insightful risk reporting and analysis to allow for risk informed business decision making
To be considered for this role you will hold a minimum of 5 years Internal Audit or Risk Management experience within financial services or a professional services environment. You will be able to articulate your structured  approach to control testing, scenario analysis and incident management, whilst offering commercial solutions.
