  • Support the Internal Audit team with achieving it's strategic goals.
  • Coordinate Training, undertake and coordinate internal and external quality assurance exercises;
  • Assist with the coordination of the activities of Internal Audit and the activities of the Co-Source partners;
  • Play a key part in coaching and mentoring of team members;
  • Deliver high quality and insightful Audit reporting to the Board and Audit committee.
  • Ensure that Audits are appropriately planned, resourced and executed.
  • Escalate any unresolved issues to the Internal Audit Leadership team.
  • Through coaching, mentoring and provision of feedback help improve the performance and development of staff within the Audit function.
Experience required
  • At least 5 years internal audit / assurance experience.
  • In depth understanding of requirements / expectations of an Internal Audit team within an Australian and New Zealand Financial Services Industry.
  • Experience and exposure to Wealth/Superannuation/Insurance products.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships at a range of levels.
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Ambitious, innovative and adaptable.
