The Role:
My Client is a Global Financial Institution, looking to hire a mid-level banking, structured finance products lawyer. The team provides legal advice and documentation support for fixed income, currency, rates, derivatives, commodities, futures & clearing, prime finance, equities sales and trading businesses, credit and loan trading, structured products and solutions businesses. The hire reports directly to the Head of legal coverage for the above business. Day-to-day functions will involve business development, transactional and advisory work, documentation and participation in industry-based initiatives.


You will have:
  • 4-8 PQE with relevant experience from law firm or financial services firm
  • Assist with legal coverage of rates, currencies, credit and loans trading, corporate real estate and asset financing / securitisation transactions and structured loans and products
  • Rates, Currencies and Credit Derivatives and financial regulatory experience (in particular, familiarity with Singapore and/or Hong Kong and/or India regulatory requirements) would be an advantage
  • Banking regulatory experience – crypto currency, structures involving environmental sustainability and litigation management
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
