The Role:
Our client is a highly funded FinTech company based in Hong Kong that focus on building a state-of-the-art trading platform with the use of AI. They have built an experienced team of exceptional engineers and are looking to grow their core development team to sustain the growing user base and ambitious 2023+ roadmap. In this position you will join as a Technical Team Lead, offering expertise from a financial services background to help design and deliver solutions. Within 12 months you will be given the roadmap to become the VP of Engineering; managing, mentoring, and growing the development team from strength to strength.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and delivering solutions to integrate and maintain client connections is required – using FIX Protocol
  • Responsible for deploying product update, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations
  • Working directly with the CTO on current and future technology strategy
  • Involved in Project Management decisions

Requirements:
  • Strong experience from the financial industry is required, preferably FIX
  • 8+ years of proven hands-on experience
  • Development of market gateways and DMAs
  • Experience in prototyping, architectural styles, and design process
  • Experience working in remote/hybrid teams with project-based responsibilities
  • Strong experience with Python, Java on AWS and modern full stack technology
  • Experience managing or leading teams
  • Proven communication skills – Fluent English and Mandarin or Cantonese is required
