Seeking a Cloud Architect for one of our high-profile Financial Services clients.
 
Job Description:
As the Cloud Architect you will be responsible for converting the technical requirements of a project into the architecture and design that will guide the final product. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work with AWS, Azure, VMware and other leading-edge technologies. You will also assist to form processes and procedures in IT architecture and design to ensure the operational and strategic needs are met.
 
  • Design a usable cloud structure for employees, clients, and customers to utilise.
  • Understanding the organisations cloud requirements and translating them into workable solutions.
  • Overseeing space usage both now and into the future.
  • Work closely with extant platform team.
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders, both internally and externally to the business.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships and add value across the organisation.
  • Work with project managers and business analysts across plan and design phases as well as external vendors and customer stakeholders
 
Job Requirements:
  • Ideally 7 +years of experience in DevOps/Systems Administration with demonstrated 4+ years of ability with cloud-based provisioning, monitoring, and solving (preferably AWS, Azure, GCP) applications.
  • Deeper insight into the cloud infrastructure architecture & well architected framework
  • Practitioner experience with containerization (docker & Kubernetes), cloud technologies, tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD) and practices (CI/CD patterns, automated provisioning & release, IaC).
