This role sits within their regional technology team which utilizes best practice design techniques offering a variety of modern business applications. You’ll work side-by-side with different business teams to translate their requirements into technology solutions.

Under the guidance of the Head of Technology, you will provide technical expertise throughout every stage of the SDLC and develop customer relationships. More experienced candidates will be considered for Senior Developer role.

They are particularly interested in engineers who have industry experience with GoLang who aspired to work on cutting edge technology.

Job Specs:
  • Responsible for the development of Frontend and Backend functional modules (Web and Application)
  • Develop reusable components and frameworks, participate in internal specifications, tool development, etc
  • Contribute to Agile practices, daily standups, sprint planning, review and SDLC discussions
  • (Senior) Monitor and track productivity of projects with the use of Azure DevOps Dashboard
  • (Senior) Drive to resolve technical challenges and implement different solutions
  • (Senior) Distribute tasks via developer sessions based on the teams individual engineers strengths

Requirements:
  • 2 years of programming experience for Junior position
  • 4+ years of programming experience for Senior position
  • Proficient in Node, Typescript and Frontend technologies (React, Vue)
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 and Node frontend components
  • Understand MongoDB / Redis
  • Good experience in Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC
  • Good at writing test cases with the use of Selenium, Junit, TDD and Azure Testing
  • Proven experience with or to adopt microservice architecture pattents, preferably implementing event-driven
  • Understand how to implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiar with containerization technology – Kubernetes, AWS/Azure
  • Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing
  • We prefer Hong Kong based candidates.
