The Role
We are seeking a motivated and analytical  Assistant Manager – Asset & Liability Management (ALM) Risk  to join our Risk Management team. This role is responsible for supporting the development, monitoring, and enhancement of the Company's ALM risk framework
 
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess the Company's Asset & Liability Management (ALM) risk profile, including interest rate, liquidity, and cash flow mismatch risks.
  • Perform regular ALM analysis, stress testing, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing to evaluate the impact of market movements on the balance sheet.
  • Support the preparation of ALM reports and risk dashboards for Senior Management, Risk Committees, and the Board.
  • Monitor compliance with ALM risk limits, policies, and risk appetite statements, and escalate any breaches or emerging risks.
  • Collaborate with Actuarial, Finance, Investment, and Product teams to evaluate new initiatives from an ALM risk perspective.
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in ALM, financial risk management, actuarial, treasury, investments, or insurance risk management.
  • Experience within the insurance industry is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with insurance regulatory frameworks and capital requirements is an advantage.
